Coverage starts for those who enrolled by December 15, 2024 and have paid their first premium.

Coverage Starts for Late Enrollees
Coverage begins for those who enrolled or made changes from December 16 through January 15 and have paid their first premium.
Year-Round Coverage Options and Special Enrollment Period
You may still get coverage from January 16 to October 31 if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to a life event (like marriage, birth, or job loss) or changes in income. Additionally, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) provide free or low-cost coverage year-round.
